Use this screen to edit grading scales.
A grading scale consists of a series of grades.
The letter grade is the letter that will show up on a report card or transcript. The number grade is the minimum numerical average to get this letter grade. For example, if you say that A is 90 and B is 80, then an average of 90 or more on gradable assignments earns the student an A, and an average of at least 80 but less than 90 earns the student a B. Every scale must have one entry with a minimum of 0.
Every letter grade also has a number of "grade points". These are used when calculating a grade point average (GPA). The GPA is calculated by multiplying the number of credits for each class (see Class) by the grade points for the grade received, adding these up, and dividing by the total number of credits.
Unlike most of the screens in SkuleKeeper, there are no add or delete buttons on this screen.
To add a new grade to a scale, enter it in one of the blank rows. If there are no remaining blank rows, click Update and the program will add more.
To delete a grade, just blank out a row.
