Setup: Candidates

#PartyPersonalityStrengthHuman Debate

There are a maximum of 4 candidates. Select a party for each candidate. Select "no candidate" to have less than 4.

Select a Personality for each candidate. This determines what the candidate is good at. For example, a "Bulldog" is great at Negative Attacks, not so good at Fundraising. An "Organization Man" is great at planning surprises, not so good at debates.

Party Strength determines how many actions the candidate gets each turn. Major Party = 4, Minor Party = 3, Spoiler = 2, Super Party = 5. Human players should generally be Major Parties. You may make computer-controlled canidates Minor Parties or Spoilers so they are unlikely to defeat the human players but will liven things up. If you are playing solitaire, you might make your opponent a Super Party for a more challenging game.

Click "Human" to make the candidate be controlled by a human player. Leave it unchecked for it to be controlled by the computer (a "robocandidate").

Click "Debate" for the candidate to participate in debates. Generally Minor Parties and Spoilers do not participate in debates.

There can only be one candidate from each party. There can only be one candidate with any given Personality. There can be any number of candidates with the same Party Strength, and any number of robos or humans. There must be at least 2 debaters.
